Why We Serve
Alicia milks cows for 12 hours a day, her eyes brim with tears as she explain that the job is hard and monotonous. She has a lot of debt, but works hard to repay it. She is lonely here and feels isolated. Taking English Classes at the Multicultural Center, she is grateful and feels happy; she has made many new friends and improved her English.
